The wreckage of the Russian Sukhoi SuperJet that went missing during a demonstration flight in Indonesia has been found.
That's according The Associated Press, which writes "search and rescue teams found the wreckage of the plane on a mountain Thursday (late Wednesday U.S. time) ... in western Indonesia. The conditions of the 48 people on board are not known."
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono confirmed the accident via a television press conference late Wednesday.
"The airplane crashed at the edge of Salak mountain ... An investigation must be done immediately and thoroughly," he is quoted as saying by The Jakarta Post.
