Oman Air CEO Wayne Pearce said the airline is considering adding more A330s and Boeing 737s to its fleet via leases, and is now studying when it could introduce the aircraft. Mr. Pearce said the carrier’s passenger traffic has increased 30% so far this year, with an increase in bookings to Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the Indian subcontinent. Oman Air is due to take delivery of six 787s from 2015. The carrier is also considering adding a dedicated freighter aircraft, most probably a converted A300 or A310 converted from a passenger aircraft.
