The Forum which is mandated by the GCC Ministerial Committee for Planning and Development will create a platform for an invited audience from the public and private sector from around the GCC to share their knowledge and skills to develop future strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises’ (SME) growth in the GCC.
“The Ministry of Finance’s support to the event is an appropriate initiative for the future economic climate that will see the economies of the GCC becoming high-growth economies” says Sheikh Ahmed Al Khalifa minister of finance of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Speaking on Gulf Air’s support for the initiative, Gulf Air deputy chief executive officer, Maher Al Musallam said: “Economic growth is vital to the development of all economies and the GCC is no different. We are pleased to sponsor the first gathering of the GCC Future Entrepreneurs Forum, which we believe will encourage knowledge sharing in the pursuit of essential skills. As Bahrain’s national carrier and one of the country’s largest employers, Gulf Air is committed to investing in local and regional talents.
