Aeroflot presented the first jet with a special livery depicting Olympic mascots of Sochi-2014

Russian Airlines has presented the aircraft with a special Olympic livery. Airbus А320 named «Erofey Khabarov» is decorated with Sochi-2014 logo and pictures of Olympic mascots of the first winter Olympics in the history of Russia – leopard, polar bear and jackrabbit, Aeroflot’s press-service reports.

Ivan Skobrev, the champion of Russia and world champion in classic multiathlon, silver and bronze medalist of Vancouver Olympics and the ambassador of Sochi-2014, has taken part in the solemn ceremony. Ivan has highly appreciated the new design and noted that “Olympic mascots will decorate the jets of Sochi-2014’s General partner and spread the “Olympic word” all over the country”. Aeroflot has exclusive right to use mnemonics of Sochi-2014 in the livery of its aircraft; this is a unique project, the airline noted.

Aeroflot is the General partner of XXII Winter Olympics and XI Paralympic winter games in Sochi in the “Passenger transportation” category. Aeroflot has already started the preparation for the upcoming Winter Olympic Games in close cooperation with Organizing Committee of Sochi-2014 and Russian Olympic Committee
